That’s the truth about high school, when you own something far enough within our budget, people seems to talk about you. Popularity is so easy nowadays, because you don’t have to prove anything nor help anyone.
Why do people go crazy over it? You might have seen these ‘Iphones’ carried out by the characters in films, or the posts on the social media introducing its latest models, its good performance, or fancied the idea of being one of the trending ‘Iphoners’ at your school. For a phone, it is very expensive yet it’s the quality that we are paying, and of course the freebies, especially the fame.
There are many people who stressed that the IGens (refers to the teenagers living in the 21st Century) are narcissistic and self-centered. Well, these are just a remark or an opinion but somehow, as we all view our surroundings, we could say that they have a point.
A phone is a tool for communication and information, not for arrogance and fame. True, that there are angles in life where society looked up to you just because you have the best cellphone, but it does not define who we are.
