Slow And Heavy Traffic: What To Do?

Wherever we are right now, we all have one thing in common in our city streets and highways--heavy traffic. During these times when we get stuck in slow or heavy traffic on the way to school or to the office, here are things we can do to make wise use of time instead of complaining about it all the way through.

Read, talk and sleep-- these are small things you can do to help you pass time. If you are a student and headed for an exam, read while you are stuck in traffic. You'll get to your exam well-reviewed and ready for your exam. If you are working, you can bring in some helpful ebooks to give you something to do while waiting. You can even bring books or novels to entertain yourself during the ride. Talk. Turn to your seatmate and have some small talk. You may wonder at the number of things you learn just by having small talk.

Sleep. If reading and talking aren't your thing, you can just simply close your eyes and enjoy the ride. That way, you can get some rest and wake up refreshed at your destination. You can also try just taking in everything in the surroundings. Pay attention to details and try to think about how it can relate to your life.

Don't let a few moments go to waste. Whatever you choose to do, make it worth your time.
