Eating less to nothing, working out too much, diet pills and many more. People nowadays are into losing weight. Aside from the insecurity of seeing your idols with a perfect body, you want to live better by being healthy. Some may lose fats quickly and some lose it over a year but one thing is for sure, losing weight is never easy. You follow online tutorials and you've installed applications in your smartphone about easy exercises and diet plans but, are you really losing weight the right way?
There are many articles on the internet about how celebrities lose weight. Many people follow their diet because they think it's legit since they can actually see proof and results. Instagram accounts about losing weight have spread all over the internet. Some tend to say that one should eat only twice or thrice a day or one should eat a little amount of food all throughout the day. What you don't know is the secret to losing weight is eating 5 times a day. You might say that that's too much! No, it isn't. First, Eating small portions 5 times a day is really helpful if you're actually on diet. You don't go hungry which results to not overeating. It's also important to not skip any meals. Second, you might actually be thinking about turning into a vegan. That's not fully healthy though. Humans need protein and other vitamins that can only be found in meat. Turning into a full vegan can also lead to health risks such as bone fracture since there's an inadequate intake of calcium. Third, you have to cut down all your favorite foods. Well, that's not really necessary. Don't be so hard on your self. You can eat your favorite foods but with moderation. If these foods make you happy, then why hold back?
There are lots of diet myths out there that you may think that is equally legit as to living healthy. Be wary, these myths may be also letting you gain weight even more. If you can't achieve the body of your idols, so what? Everyone is unique. We all have different body types. Don't push yourself so hard. Always know that there's a fine line between losing weight and eating healthy.
