To all my fellow women out there, we must have forgotten how special we are and how beautiful we are inside and out...

I grew up with a strong belief in women, as they say I am kind of ‘feminist’.  I have always believed that women are not inferior beings instead they are very strong, resilient, versatile, warm, heroic, driven, achiever, go-getter…name it! We women are well-rounded.

Sadly, the value of women in the society today has been taken for granted not only by people around them but also by their own selves. In some of the news, we see abuses and harassment inflicted on women. In social media, we see women putting themselves in the lowest pedestal. Why is this so?

I once read a book on  Woman, being a Completer. It reminded me how important the role of a woman and how valuable she is. It elaborates the reason why God created Eve. It was because Adam was alone and he needed someone to be with him. He would be better and happier if somebody will cheer him up while he attends to what God asked him to do in the Garden of Eden. Adam needed a cheerer, he needs a help meet…he simply needed someone to complete him. So just imagine life without women. 

We must have forgotten how special we are and how beautiful we are inside and out. Let me tell you that in any setting in life, a woman shines! At home, she is a loving mother to her children and she is a supportive wife to her husband. She is a living hero! At work, she excels and delivers more than what is required from her. She is an achiever! In business, she is brave to be willing to take risks. She is successful! In her community, she serves without expecting anything in return; she just wanted to make other lives better. She is compassionate!

Wherever you go, you find a wonderful woman – loving, caring, nurturing, dreaming, achieving, succeeding… So let’s remind what we are, who we are and what we are capable of doing. To all great women out there, do not settle for lessl! You deserve all the love, care and respect in the world! Continue to make a difference in many more lives not only to other women but to the entire humanity.
