People specifically dress for people they wish to please and impress. Choosing the clothes to wear from your wardrobe must be done with careful thinking because it does more than just covering your body. Models can go out on the catwalk wearing weird on their clothes during a fashion show because they represent the boss who’s meticulously styled and sewed those type of clothes. Here are some things one might want to consider before choosing clothes.
You show people the kind of person you are by the way you dress. Even if you tell people that you are a conservative person yet dress otherwise, people will still treat you the way you dress calls for it. A person dressed in a suit will most likely be entertained first in a bank rather than the one dressed in rags. A person’s religious beliefs is sometimes manifested through his/her way of clothing too. A person won’t believe you are serving a living God if you’re dressed up like how those who believe in cults do.
People naturally gawk and booty call when somebody’s dress calls for it. Therefore, women who demand respect must dress modestly rather than shame other people for disrespecting them because of their immodest attire.
Lastly, dresses were created to provide concealment for one’s body. Women should especially cover their bodies because it is God’s gift to them which will in turn be their gift to their husbands. More importantly, everyone should dress properly in order to somehow communicate the message that they are people worth their respect.
