Silence Is The Best Answer

Wherever we go today, the noise comes in different kinds of form. Whether we are taking a walk in the city, browsing through our emails and stuff, checking our phones and our simply sitting anywhere silence is no longer a common thing. Sometimes, we even choose to block noise with another form of noise by putting on our headphones so as not to hear the different type of music played in public or listening to what our minds are telling us even when somebody else is already talking to us. We all forget that sometimes, silence is a good remedy.

When we give time to surround ourselves with silence, we get to hear what our mind is thinking and we get to think things through right. It’s like giving your head a break and just enjoying some time alone with itself. It is damaging when we don’t give silence a place in our lives because we react to circumstances without thinking. Instead of coming up with a good decision, we let our ourselves decide right away without pausing and weighing matters wisely before giving a final verdict. It is not necessary to shut everyone off and go to a secluded place just to give the idea that you want silence. It can be done in any way according to the person as long as it gives him space and the time he needs to be able to think of things clearly.

In this world full of noise, we may be one of the few who chooses to go out of the way to give silence a chance. A time of silence to think things through, sometimes if not often, helps us give the right answers.
