Once in a blue moon, there’s someone in our life who knows it all, someone who supports and accepts us unconditionally, someone who cares, someone we can always lean on - they are the people in our lives we call "friends”. Who are your best friends? Do you have one? How long do you think you are going to hold on to them? Tomorrow? Next week? Or next month?
There were people in our lives that were "supposed-to-be our friends" but not anymore. Why? What happened? Most of the friendship ended up because of the crumpled "trust". What is trust? Trust is the oil of friendship. It is a mysterious word that bonds two or more people together but be cautious because it is too delicate that once broken, it will always be broken and will be too expensive to even ask for it.
I cannot help but feel sad hearing stories about friendship ending up because of this issue. I agree that there are no perfect friend, no perfect friendship either. There will be times that will test your character, patience and trust but just be humble to say sorry and be passionate to forgive. To forgive is not instant. It is a long process of time. To recognize and accept your fault is not easy; it takes a great amount of humility.
Either you are the offender or the offended; it does not matter how long it takes. What matters most is that you are both willing to save that friendship? Are you? Or are insensitive enough to let it go? How does your friends mean to you?
