Best Friend
No man is an island. Everyone has a best friend that he can consider closer to him. Maybe you’ve met them at work or someone whom you grow up with together. Some meet their best friends in an unlikely manner like in shops, malls, schools or in the streets. But when will be the time that you can consider your friend as your best friend? What should be the measurement to it? Some say that your best friend is someone who is always by your side when you needed him the most. Others say that your best friend is someone you can share your secrets, your doubts, and plans without fearing that someone might know them.
According to dictionary.com, a best friend is a person whom you value above other friends in life, someone you have fun with, someone you trust and someone in whom you confide. But sometimes best friends become mortal enemies. This is the time that one of the parties failed the other bigtime. It is the time that a person felt neglected and betrayed by his friend.
Being best friends is a two-way process. Both parties should benefit with the friendship they shared with. To keep their friendship healthy, it should be well-taken cared of without crossing the boundaries of the don’ts and do’s of their friendship. Best friends share a lot of common things among them. And best friends will remain best friends forever if they will stick and hold on the things they believe, share and want to achieve with.
