I'm not sure about you, I may not know you but what makes us whole today is the influence of the past. Your nation, it could be the government and the system, organizations, family circle, friends, schools, books and anything visible to you.
Let's Identify the person who influenced your growth. Who can vote and bid their last card over for their influencers? Influencers are heroes, that deliver good input to the world without thinking about the risk, that they only have the courage to step up.
There are many of them, influencers from a religious group, inventors, marketing, and help self-help entrepreneurs. While in today's we have Social media influencers, Marketing Campaign Influencers, and Gamers who inspire younger people. There are different coaches who teach how to be someone you craved to be.
Past influencers are normal people with a regular job, or below average who has the courage to step up and stands out. In the past, we don't have that craving because people were afraid and been running in circles, but there are few who proclaim themselves as the one who made it. The good thing is I was born in the 90's. But however, the growth is slower than now, there are numerous opportunities and the only hindrance is the effective execution and technology.
Let's consider the famous Inventor Thomas Edison, the inventor of the first Incandescent bulb. There were over twenty-three people who work with the project in his time, but Edison who only make it to his signature inventions. Whereas making a project is just something that sparks as an idea, but now there are over billions of people who no longer in the dark side of the universe. Salute to that.
The Influencers in the present. They are influential. How? With over a million subscribers on Youtube, one hundred thousand followers on twitter and there are thirty thousand Facebook members. Watch out for the influencers whose definition in today's are lack of contents. They serve through the basis of most viewed youtube videos. They are intentional about influencing because they wanted to be known and famous. To win your likes and thumbs ups.
Watch out for the purpose of "For marketing purposes only and publicity". They are easy to identify though.
The technological advancements now are open and come in free, everyone tried but many failed. Why, because we have the variety of options, we lack focus so we end up losing.
Who made it today?
Celebrities who use their position to influence culture, diversity, and empowering women and youth. I would love to acknowledge Priyanka Chopra, Ellen DeGeneres, and Megan Markle who empower women all over the world. They build an organization that helps children who are less fortunate. I love Ellen because of her love for the animals especially gorillas. Her cause is to protect their haven and maintain a safer wildlife as they multiply, preventing these species from extinction.
In the Philippines, we have few Philanthropist like Ramon Aboitiz, Henry Sy and more. Celebrities who use their talents and fame to be an inspiration.
Angelo Casimiro, a twenty-year-old teen who created 66 inventions from d.i.y. gadgets to useful health companion app. His creation was seen over a million times on youtube and social media. He also teaches everyone online to create their own device.
I believe the present is shaped in the past. No one can stop us from making our lives more meaningful by having the desire and good intentions to change the world.
