A mother’s body is no phasing phase, a beautiful reality, unique to every woman and needs no labels. I consider self-care no matter how small, to be necessary to my health as nourishing food and exercise. Finding the time to take care of one self is an absolute must, ladies. As moms, our lives revolve around meeting the needs of our children and husbands day in and out.
We must prioritize self-care time no matter how crazy and hectic life is. Motherhood is a wonderful job to be charged but it can also be incredibly draining. And when you are drained, you are not the best version of yourself. Find time to recharge and celebrate who you are as an individual.
Soon, you will realize that your happiness is vital in your life and that a worn out momma is not at all good to anyone. Later on, the people in your life will see that a positive impact a little self care has on you as well. You will realize that a happy, rested and fulfilled you will contribute for a happier everyone.
Being a mother is a beautiful gift but it is also a job that often requires us to juggle the needs of the people we love. It is not easy to love ourselves in that juggling act and we soon forget that we are also important. When we embrace our need for self-care, we will also be happier and are more likely to recognize the support we need for recharging.
