What Time Is It?

Have you ever had the feeling of waking up in the middle of the day and asking yourself,” What am I doing right now?” Have you ever asked yourself then how much time has passed and what did you do for all those time you were in that state (which is sleeping with eyes wide open). These are moments when we get to question ourselves if we are already where we are supposed to be or if we should just change course, perhaps.

It’s funny to think that time goes fast when you are doing important but slows down when you are doing nothing at all. During those slow days, we might find ourselves caught up in something that does not lead us to our plans and goals but let us not think of it is a waste of time. Whatever comes your way brings the purpose of teaching you something that will be useful in your future. It may seem worthless at the moment but someday, you’ll look back and be thankful for that slow time. Even failures that discourage us or add more time to reach our goal hide behind it a purpose of preparing you for what’s ahead.

It is important to evaluate yourself every now and then if you are still motivated to reach your goal or if distractions are taking your eyes off your goal. No matter how long it takes to reach the end, it is always important to enjoy the journey and to never disregard the valuable lessons that come along with it.
