We have a different approach to about productivity. Having all the work done in one sitting is an accomplishment. Or multitasking is a good productivity hack. Well, you might end up losing your momentum. Did you know that multitasking affects your brain capacity to think? Good work will soon lose its quality caused by burnout.
Yay! I'm productive today because I did all the household chores without complaining. That's great, productivity is not about how many tasks you've done, this is about the work done without draining your energy at the end of the day.
Meaning your mind is aligned with what you would like to accomplish today without having a single thought of giving up.
Schedule your task. Breaking up your task with the most important activity up to the least significant task. This will help you achieve your goal quickly. Write everything in a planner, use a pencil to easily edit what you have written.
Start with your goal. Ask yourself the question WHY to scrutinize your real motives about the task.
Delegate. There are important tasks that need to negotiate with the skilled individuals. Accept that you can't do it alone, and you need others to do it for you.
Eliminate. Always remember that there is the task that looks important but they are not. Remove or eliminate what's not helping. One good example is reading emails that would lead you to take time composing a response to the messages. It's important to allow time for email reading or browsing on social media. You will end up watching videos on youtube.
Find yourself in the quadrant below. You can draw your own boxes and label each in your planner. For the whole month, list all your task inside quadrants and see which do not serve to your productivity.
