FOGGY MOUNTAIN

As the winter is approaching, we think it is time that we revisit Tai Mo Shan again. Tai Mo Shan means "Foggy Mountain" in Cantonese. It is the highest peak in New Territories, Hong Kong with an altitude of 957m. Tai Mo Shan Country Park surrounds the peak and it is located on the north side of Tai Lam Country Park. Frost was spotted on Tai Mo Shan two years ago when temperature dropped to 0 degrees. The top of Tai Mo Shan is accessible by the Tai Mo Shan Road. Tai Mo Shan weather radar station is located on top. Direction: Take bus no. 51 in Tsuen Wan and get off at the bus stop near the junction of Route Twisk and Tai Mo Shan Road.
