SAGADA MOUNTAIN PROVINCE

Once or twice a year our family made a plan to travel around the Philippines to visit the beautiful places that God has created especially for us Filipinos. We are vested wonderful scenery, extravagant resources, beautiful beaches, delicious food etc.  If there is a paradise on Earth that is full of treasures, that place is known as the Philippines that is located at the Pacific, and we dubbed as the "Pearl of the Orient".

We have visited several places and I would like to share with you guys the wonderful experiences and places that we've been through.

2014 Our family visited Sagada, a town in the Cordillera Mountains, within the Philippines’ Mountain Province. Sagada is one of the most popular tourist destination in the country. We have experienced a lot of activities like trekking and waterfalls hiking going to Bomod-Ok falls; view the Sugong Hanging Coffins- sagada is famous for hanging coffins; visited Lumiang Burial Cave - according to our tour guide there are about 200 plus coffins that is buried for more than 500 years. The inserted photo of me and my husband Erick is the view of Kapay-aw Rice Terraces and it can be seen on our way to Sumaguing Cave - one of the most visited tourist attractions in Sagada. It is the cave that serve as a refuge for filipino soldiers from the japanese guerillas. Inside the cave you will be amazed on the stalagmite and stalactite formations. One of the much awaited itinerary is food tripping. We really love to eat and taste the food that different places has to offer.

The average annual temperature in Sagada is 19 °C.  During the time we visited Sagada that was month of February, the lowest temperature was 13 °C and it was very cold.

We also visited the Lake Danum, Pottery House, Kiltepan Viewpoint and Sagada weaving.

There are lot of things to do and lot of places to visit in Sagada. Trully, it's a PARADISE that God created for us to cherish.
