A Transgender Joining Miss Universe

I was shocked when I heard the news recently about allowing a transgender joining the Miss Universe pageant. For me, miss universe is only for the natural born women. I respect all the LGBTQ community but we should also consider the feelings of all born and recognized as a woman.  Whether you have undergone any transplant or surgeries, you have been named and recognized as a man based on your genitalia.  Gays or trans don’t have estrogen, never suffered menstrual cramps every month nor bearing and giving birth to a child. 

Miss Universe Spain to become a queen is totally absurd. There are certain pageants entitled for trans. With this issue concerning a transgender inclusion in the said pageant leaves me in indignation. Being a woman has everything to do with having woman’s chromosomes. I’m all for equality and inclusiveness but you cannot discount any biological part of womanhood. If DNA doesn’t make a woman, then what exactly does? 

In a diversified world or the universe rather, there will always be a platform to raise our opinions whether be a man, woman, or transgender. We can always help one way or another to make the world a better place for everyone on this planet. It's all about humanity, kindness, equality, and respect. In my own account, a pageant like miss universe should be given to naturally born women which epitomizes love, caring, sharing and nurturing life. Being to compete without knowing what the real essence of a woman is quite undesirable and unfair for women who underwent too many battles in their womanhood physically and emotionally. Let’s give respect to a person whom our life came from nine months of her womb, our mothers thus, a transgender woman can never be. At the end of the day, there is a separation stage for every transgender to be recognized and that separation itself should be uplifted and has to be seen and felt by everybody.
