Before Social Media, There Is Slam Book

Does anyone remember their teenage activities? Before social media sites started bugging us with who our friends are, or what’s our comment status, we had slam books. I remember the good old days when if we truly wanted to know more about our friends, we would personally ask them to tediously fill on the blanks with their fun facts as well as the answer to the popular question “what is love?”

Back then, slam book is one of the most famous thing when we we’re still young. Everyone back then wants to sign in it, answer all the questions about them or just simply write their crush name. It was fun. And it’s a very good memory of being a teenager.

It is very popular among the young girls passing around the notebooks during recess to answer personal questions and compare responses. I have only good experiences with this activity, considering all the personal details. You could learn about yourself and others. These slam books can be valuable especially when the questions are positively drive and personality based. They will have the same effect of a scrapbook when it will be discovered years in the future- this is something that hold memories and can be overall worth reminiscing.
