I have a friend who I love dearly but something makes me loathe him as well. Whenever we have exams, it is always clear that his grades are all that matters to him. He would go around asking ‘how much is your score?’ then he would laugh when you get a lower score than him or get pissed when you get a higher one. Sure, it would be nice if we get a lot of high scores but, when you are already doing anything which does not include studying hard is not good. You cheat, you look for the exam papers beforehand, and you would do anything to be on top. Is it really worth it?
Grades are what employers would look for when one is applying for the job. Or is it? There are a lot of graduates who have excellent resumes but are still unemployed. The employers would certainly look at your grades but what really matters is your attitude. The kind of attitude they are looking for cannot be studied or imitated once you apply for a job. It starts when you step into your kindergarten class and develop all throughout your school life. When you are more used to cheating, this would show bad working habits which can lead you to unemployment or getting fired. If you were trained to really learn the lesson and take it by heart instead of looking for ways to easily cheat in an exam, you would likely show good working habits that can lead to employment or promotion. This can be seen in companies where the one who graduated in a prestigious school has the same salary as the one who just finished high school but was trained for the job.
Now, let me ask again. Are the cheated high grades really worth it? Instead of asking how one can cheat when the teacher is so attentive during exams, why don’t you ask others to have a group study? Change your attitude and way of life because grades are not enough when you don’t know how to do a task that was taught in school because you cheated.
