I worked for a water distribution company in Saudi Arabia for seven years and it is very true that water is life. Our products were Mineral Water which will be distributed throughout the Kingdom and even to the nearby gulf countries; that could reach up to tens of thousands of cubic meters of water daily
Mineral Water was even more expensive than petrol at a cost of 13 pesos (1 riyal) per 600ml, while their petrol costs at 6.50 pesos (.50 riyal) a litter, at that time. It was due to the process of making their sea water potable for human consumption using their sophisticated desalinization process utilizing the reverse osmosis principle of water filtration, which required very high power, hence the price.
Here in the Philippines you can find so vast bodies of water everywhere since this country is an archipelago. We need to take good care of our natural resources so it could sustain our needs and the generations thereafter. We are very lucky that there are still potable water widely available at our springs inland that produces enough water for our consumption and are even better than those bottled Mineral Water.
