All of us worked and motivated differently from each other. Many people work for the salary, while others due to their passion. Whatever your reasons maybe there are still things that keep you motivated and keep you coming to work every day.

Some do their job because they don't want to lose the salary they are receiving and they believe that they can't find it somewhere else. This is true for those jobs that require more physical labor.
Benefits
Employees also love to stay in a work where they foresee their future as secured. There are companies that offer favorable medical and social benefits, bonuses, and travel incentives.
Workplace
This is one of the things that most employees complain about especially today's workforce. It is very evident that millennials don't want to be contained in an office cubicle anymore. If a workplace is a more employee-friendly, there's a good chance that employees will stay longer.
Career Development
Perhaps one of the most painful things for a person is to become obsolete in his or her field of expertise. Organizations that send their employees to training and seminars are more likely to experience positive employee retention.
These are just some of the reasons that people talk about their organizations during their after-work gatherings as to why they love to stay in their work and perhaps envisioned themselves retiring in the same company.
