Music in Everyday Lives

Listening to music has now become part of our daily life routines. It refreshes our mind from stress caused by tons of paper works and assignments from school and work.  Students listen music to focus on their studies and some listen to be able to sleep. Singers, song composers and other individuals use music as a means of expressing their thoughts and feelings of despair, love and affections. Most often music gives us the courage and motivation we need before we start our day doing our duties and responsibilities.

Music plays a great contribution in our technological advances today. Televisions and cinemas use sounds that add thrills and will hook the audience attention either in action movies, love stories and comedies. Radio dramas add music effects to convey warm message to their listeners. Cell phones have ringtones to let us know if we have received messages or calls. Mobile and computer games make use of music to boost the players’ attention and make them feel excited. Even churches use music to express their praises and glorify God.

Music indeed plays a vital part in our life. However, not all music is good and beneficial to us every time. There are some that tolerates our bad habits and influence young ones to do some bad deeds; hence a person must first determine the lyrics and messages of the song. A wise choice of music is still a must.
