The pearl of the orient sea is the home of the brave sons of freedom. Philippines, a paradise where anything is possible, the trees that is green as the meadows of a foreign land. The water that is clear as the crystals in an ice, and the fresh air and the birds swiftly flying beneath the sky is what made us far more beautiful than any of the countries who wish to stand beneath the ground of the land of the Filipinos.

It is part of the third world country; it is not as powerful as USA and Japan or richer than England. What we have in the Philippines were preserved culture and tradition, true hospitality, wonderful tourism, and good hearted people. Despite of poverty and limited resources, the Filipino people always look at the bright side and continue to live their lives to the fullest. Our country is not ideal nor perfect, it is a country full of chaos and bad events, but what’s ironic is the majority of the people aims for a better place to live and the hard work of raising the flag of the Filipinos  with head held high and feet standing firmly on the ground.

As long as the sun still shines, our stars and the blood of our heroes and the sky of hope remains on the ground where we stand. Our skin and curly hair may burn by the fire of trials, our flag retains to its place. As long as Filipinos live, Philippines is always the country that was meant for us.
