Prayer 101

There is one thing I usually do especially when I am down and when I needed someone to talk to. That is PRAYER - I consider it a cure of all the aches I have. This is the most frequent thing I do because it is a means of my communication to God. I am doing this because I know that prayer works and heals my wounds and I enjoy doing it.

God answers prayer everyday if we pray to him sincerely. We may think as though God hears our prayers only when we are in churches and not in malls or in beaches or when we are walking down the street. God is not only in one place; He is omnipresent, which means he is present everywhere.

Sometimes God says ‘no’ to our prayers because He knows more what is best for us. He has reasons why He did not allow things to happen in our lives. We need to trust His plans for us. It could be that God answered this prayer or not the other one. It could be that He gave what we needed instead of what we requested.

We do not know what would have happened had we not prayed. We will never know what God did with our prayers. We pray for our nation and our leaders hoping we will have better services. We pray for our children when they go to school, trusting God will keep them safe; sharpen their minds and grow their hearts. We pray for many reasons and for sure our prayers are answered by God – either by Yes, No or Wait.
