It is over-whelming to be told that you have an alluring face, intelligent, sexy or whatever. A sincere compliment boosts one's morale. Furthermore, everyone craves for flattering remarks, we want to be identify for our good deeds, appreciated because of our efforts, etc. Giving a compliment pertains that you had the confidence to put yourself aside and think of others welfare, without expecting them to return the favor.

On my part, I’d love to hear that someone’s appreciate my effort, recognized and accept me for who I am.
