A Random Act of Kindness

Why kindness is so important? How we can raise our children to be kind? We heard this word “kindness” being repeated constantly in our parents, teachers and elders.  A random act of kindness define as a selfless act performed by kind people to either help or cheer up a random stranger, for no reason other than to make people happier. Did you know that there is a National Random Acts of Kindness Day? National Random Acts of Kindness Day held on every 17^th day of February. It was celebrated by individuals, groups and organizations nationwide to encourage acts of kindness.

            In life we can choose and decide how we’re going to live because we’re made for a purpose. If we allowed ourselves to see how we will be able to brighten up someone’s day by performing even simple act of kindness, we can make a tremendous impact on a person’s life. Moreover, I believe that injecting random acts of kindness into daily life is a great way of accomplishing God’s mission. It doesn’t matter how we bestowed even small act of compassion for other people because God sees our heart and knew our generosity. 

Ask yourself what you are most proud of in your life? Have you tried to be a Good Samaritan even at once? Do you find it rewarding?

Here are random acts of kindness we can do;

1.      Give someone inspiring messages.

2.      Hug or comfort someone to show you care.

3.      Apologize to someone even if it is not your fault.

4.      Donate blood.

5.      Make a difference by donating funds for homeless people.

6.      Forgive someone who made a mistake.

7.      Write someone a thank you note.

8.      Respect the elders.
