Dolphins
Is there such thing as
a pink dolphin? Is it a myth or real? Where can I find a pink dolphin? Did you
know that Amazon River Dolphin known
as the boto, bufeo or pink dolphin. It is a species of toothed whale classified
in the family of Iniidae. The Amazon
River Dolphin referred as the enormous species of river dolphin, with adult
males reaching 185 kilograms in weight, and 2.5 meters in length.
Why pink dolphins are
pink? According to research their colors can be influenced by their behavior,
capillary placement, diet, and exposure to sunlight. We are proverbial that dolphins
can be seen anywhere all around the world, mostly their color is gray with some
pink spots, to almost flamingo pink. The most appealing fact about this Amazon River Dolphin is that when they
are excited or surprised they can flush bright pink similar to human blushing.
Are pink dolphins blind? Additionally, most species of river dolphins are
almost blind due to navigating muddy waters but their brains are extremely tremendous
and in full bloom. However pink dolphins are foreseen to have a relatively good
sight.
