Netizens warns the internet about shopping online after unboxing soy sauce instead of his purchased cellphone!!

Online shopping is the latest trend nowadays. People find it more convenient to have your purchased items delivered to your doorstep. No wonder people are hooked on using online shopping websites and applications. However, not all shoppers were able to get their money’s worth from their trusted online shopping destination. Unfortunately for this netizen, he had to went through an intense headache after receiving soy sauce instead of the cellphone he purchased.

Netizen Benjie Manalese Jr. warned others to be extra cautious when buying things online after experiencing the shopping fail in the famous shopping site, Lazada. After days of waiting, he was very disappointed to discover that the cellphone box he received contained a pack of soy sauce.

On his Facebook post on January 3, he wrote:

“Maging ma ingat po tayo sa online shopping gaya ng LAZADA…CELLPHONE Naging DATU PUTI TOYO. Please check your items before you pay.”

Of course, to his utter shock and disappointment, Benjie refused to receive the wrong item after unboxing it.

Good thing, the delivery man was very cooperative in resolving the issue. As seen on the viral video, he was the one who talked with the customer representative over the phone on loudspeaker.

Throughout the conversation, the female representative explained how the customer will be able to get a refund. An incident report was also made regarding this transaction. To avoid more hassle, he chose to have a refund of his money instead of having the item replaced by the same seller.

While others are suspicious of the delivery guy, many netizens claimed that it was the seller purposely sent the wrong item. At the same time, they also defend the delivery man and Lazada regarding this unsatisfactory transaction.
