Paolo Ballesteros elegantly transforms into Miss Spain Angela Ponce

Paolo Ballesteros once again whipped up a new makeup masterpiece when he shared a transformed look of Miss Spain Angela Ponce via Instagram.

Ballesteros celebrated the two beauty queens when he congratulated Catriona Gray as an elegantly transformed Miss Spain, jokingly calling himself “Angela Onthe”. He posted the picture on December 17, the same day the Miss Universe pageant was held where Gray won the crown, earning the fourth Miss Universe title for the Philippines.

The Eat Bulaga! regular is locally known as part of the trio composed of comedians Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola. Internationally, Ballesteros rose to prominence as a self-taught makeup artist by sharing via Instagram transformation of A-list celebrities. He impersonated international household names like Rihanna, Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian, Emma Stone, and Mariah Carey to name a few. He also impersonated local artists like Marian Rivera, Nora Aunor and Vic Sotto.

Earlier this year, Ballesteros posted on his Instagram an impersonation of Gray when she won the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 title.

Ponce made history as the first-ever transgender woman to compete in the international beauty pageant. Miss Spain failed to make it to the Top 20 but was proud to represent her country nonetheless.

On Friday, the 27-year old model wrote on her Instagram:

“This is for you, for those who have no visibility, no voice, because we all deserve a world of respect, inclusion and freedom… And today I am here, proudly representing my nation, all women and human rights.”
